At ELTS, we take the time to identify all your requirements and costs up front. No ‘surprises’. You’ll have all the information needed to make an informed decision, and you can be confident your project schedules and budgets will stay on track.
The following factors determine the price of our technical translation services:
- Technical complexity: Technical translation requires the native speaker to be an expert in industry-specific terminology, technical document types, and technical writing. Documents with higher levels of technical content must be translated by technical professionals with higher levels of skill and training. Although such sophisticated expertise costs more on an hourly rate, it means we produce expert quality work in a shorter time frame.
- Special programs: Translation of AUTOCAD drawings require special skills and knowledge. Most of our clients prefer to have bilingual versions of such drawings and that, of course, takes more time.
- Special formatting: Technical translation often includes tables, formulas, special symbols , etc. to communicate material completely and effectively. Such formatting requires both additional expertise and more time to produce.
Graphics are effective to add both clarity and visual appeal to technical material, but also require additional expertise and time. ELTS can scan and ‘clean up’ graphics you provide,
- Delivery: All translations
must often be prepared on tight turnaround schedules.
Our technical translators are seasoned project
‘veterans’, able to estimate accurately
the number of hours they’ll need to do
your work, then deliver a professional product
that meets both your deadline and your quality
expectations.
For an accurate quote, please email us the original version of the document to be translated. Note any special requirements, the format you need, and your delivery schedule. We’ll get back to you immediately with an accurate quote, one that identifies all costs up front.
